Data from 2019 calls and cases logged by America’s 55 poison control centers finds NOT ONE DEATH caused by supplements.
I’m talking about vitamins… minerals… herbal medicine… homeopathic remedies… and more.
No deaths from the basics like vitamin D… all the way through to “exotic”-sounding stuff like yerba mate.
In contrast, the Top 5 most common reasons for those poison control cases, in order, are:
- pain meds

With antidepressant-related cases specifically growing MOST rapidly at nearly 4% per year over the last 10 years.
