Time to take my LEAST favorite cliché… and toss it in the trash.
You know it… you’ve heard it… and maybe you’ve even used it yourself.
“I’m not getting any younger!”
Well, friend, guess what? That’s NOT always true!
Time isn’t some relentless march down a straight line from the cradle to the grave.
Now, the latest research reveals a way to STOP the clock and SLOW the aging process…
And in one of the most important places of all.
Deep inside your brain.
This could be what the world has been searching for -- a way to slow the downward slide in the brain that leads to “senior moments,” cognitive decline, dementia, and more.
Best of all, this natural remedy is EASY to find… and totally SAFE!
Fight the memory-sapping damage of age
Ladies, you’re especially going to love this one -- because this new study focused on YOU.
But guys, don’t feel too left out – because there’s something in this for you, too. I’ll get to that in a moment.
The new study focused on resveratrol, the antioxidant found in grape skins, red wine, berries and more.
There’s a catch, though…
NONE of those sources really have much of the stuff.
So, while this new study tested relatively low doses – 150 mg per day, versus a placebo – they’re doses you can really only get from a supplement.
But oh, what a difference those little capsules can make!
One year later, the women who were taking resveratrol showed 2 key improvements:
- BETTER overall cognitive performance
- LESS decline in cerebrovascular responsiveness (CVR) to cognitive stimuli.
That second one measures the amount of blood flowing to certain areas of the brain that get “turned on” while performing some kind of task. It’s been emerging as an important early indicator of cognitive decline.
Post-menopausal women in particular are in the crosshairs for cerebrovascular dysfunction…
And loss of cerebrovascular function has been linked specifically to vascular dementia.
The researchers behind the study say their findings confirm their earlier work…
That even LOW doses of resveratrol can improve CVR… and preserve overall cognitive function.
Remember what I said earlier about guys?
Those earlier studies found resveratrol works in men, too!
But I’ve also seen ways to make this even BETTER.
There’s a natural compound called pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ), which I’ve shared with you before right here.
It can improve blood flow into key regions of the brain…
And that resveratrol I just mentioned? It seems to help PQQ work even better, especially when you throw some quercetin – another memory-enhancing compound – into the mix.
The research on this combo is early… but promising enough that some companies are already selling them together in brain-boosting formulas.
Of course, you can always buy them separately.
