But if you GIVE IN to the fear, you may NEVER get those benefits.
So, let’s pull back the shades… let the sunlight in… and expose to the daylight what they hope you’ll never see.
The TRUTH about SUNLIGHT and SUNSCREEN
When I was a kid, no one ever flipped out over the sun.
We were practically CHASED out of the house to go play for hours -- and no one ever BASTED us in thick layers of chemical goop over some bogus fear.
I bet it was the same for you.
Now, of course, they’ve got everybody BRAINWASHED into believing that you shouldn’t go outside without COATING yourself in sunscreen… and/or COVERING UP like “The Invisible Man.”
But don’t FALL for it. And certainly don’t SLATHER that oily goo onto your own precious bod.
Because a recent study shows what happens INSIDE YOUR BODY after your rub in that sunscreen.
And if you ask me… it’s pretty SCARY!
Scientists tested just about every common form of sunscreen: lotions, sprays, pumps, you name it. Each contained one or more of 6 common sunscreen chemicals.
I’m talking about DANGEROUS chemicals… such as oxybenzone, avobenzone, and octocrylene.
We haven’t known quite HOW dangerous they are to humans – especially since the FDA has long insisted that they don’t really get inside the body from the skin.
So, they don’t need to be studied too closely… right?
This latest study proves them wrong, wrong, WRONG.
ALL 6 were quickly absorbed through the skin… into the body… and into the blood…
And at levels far HIGHER than the FDA’s so-called threshold for action.
That’s the limit where they’re SUPPOSED to require those critical safety studies.
But get this…
The study’s authors claim that “These findings do not conclude that individuals should refrain from the use of sunscreen.”
Are you KIDDING me???
That’s pure insanity!
Some sunscreen ingredients have been linked to hormone disruption… and even cancer.
And now that they KNOW they can PENETRATE your protective barrier… a.k.a. your skin… they want you to go ahead and use them anyway?
Everyone has different skin types and tones, so there’s no one-size-fits-all formula for safe sun exposure.
But I’ll tell you what I do.
First, if I’m going to be out for 20 minutes or less, I don’t put ANYTHING on.
In fact, I take things off – as much clothes as I can get away with – to get the full effect of healthy sun exposure.
See, sun exposure triggers 3 key reactions that keep you HEALTHY:
- STIMULATES vitamin D production
- ARMS the immune system
- ACTIVATES artery-opening nitric oxide.
After 20 minutes, though, I DON’T want to burn… so I’ll retreat to a shady corner or head inside.
If that’s not possible… like if I’m spending a day at the beach, park, or pool… I’ll use something like the old-fashioned zinc oxide or para-aminobenzoic acid sunscreens.
You know PABA – that’s the stuff that’ll leave handprints on your body if you don’t put on right, and stain your clothes if you’re not careful?
EVERYTHING has a downside, after all…
And if my only other option is chemicals being SLURPED UP by my body… I’ll take a temporary hand tattoo and shirt stain any day.
